Mechanical/CAD Drafting

Learn to translate ideas, sketches and specifications from an engineer, architect or designer into complete and accurate working plans. You will be trained on both traditional drafting equipment and computerized programs during this course.

The Pennco Tech mechanical drafting training program in New Jersey can expose you to both classroom theory and laboratory projects. In addition, you will be required to create a variety of drawings of various sizes on different drawing media to address specific challenges within the engineering media industry.

The computer aided drafting (CAD) courses in our program examine the fundamentals of lettering and line work, applied math, perspective, mechanical forms, castings, DOS, AutoCAD, and more.
