Some people want to work with their hands, or they have a passion for fitting things together and making them work. And not everyone wants to attend a four-year college before joining the working world. If you plan to graduate high school soon, or if you are a recent high school graduate, or even if you’re looking to change career paths, consider the valuable education you can gain by enrolling in skilled trade programs.
If you live in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Pennco Tech offers a variety of vocational school programs close to home at our Bristol, PA, campus. Here, we discuss our educational offerings in further detail.
Programs Offered at Our Pennsylvania Campus
For over 50 years, Pennco Tech has been providing quality vocational school programs to students in Pennsylvania. Our programs focus on essential career trades with great employment opportunities. Here are the programs currently available:
Automotive programs
Trade Programs
Medical Programs
Each of these programs prepares our students for entry-level positions in their chosen field. Plus, within each job category, multiple roles are possible. For example, medical assistants may gravitate toward billing functions and gain experience as medical billers. Our automotive technology program includes diagnostics and repair of electrical systems, mechanical parts, air conditioning units, and hybrid vehicles. Students who are more interested in performing tasks on the body of the vehicle can choose our collision repair program.
In terms of skilled trade programs, whether you choose to become a welder, electrician, plumber, or HVAC&R technician, our programs provide a strong basis for entering those fields. There is a need across the U.S. for workers in these fields. Pursuing an educational program for vocational and skilled trade jobs is a solid way to gain hands-on experience and safety techniques.
Choose Skilled Trade Programs in PA
There are so many reasons to consider a trade career. Pennco Tech programs take less time and cost less than a four-year college degree program. In addition, we teach subjects that aren’t always available with a college or university curriculum. All our programs offer hands-on teaching, and there’s no substitute for this type of experience when you get to the job site. Our instructors are experienced in their fields and can pass on valuable knowledge, skills, and tips to students in their classrooms.
