Pennco Tech offers multiple options for students.  We have both day and evening classes offered at a full-time, accelerated schedule, as well as a part-time, flexible schedule.  Programs blend classroom instruction with hands on lab work.

Yes, in order to apply at Pennco Tech School you must be a High School graduate or have completed a GED equivalency.

We have day and evening admission hours to accommodate all schedules. Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays 8:00am-8:00pm. Tuesday 8:00am-4:00pm and Friday’s 8:00am – 3:00pm.

Yes, walk-ins are welcome!  Or you can reach out to the Admissions Department to schedule your tour of the facility – 856-232-0310.  

Yes. During your tour with the Admissions department, our representatives will go over the list of our top employers in your respective field. Interested individuals are also welcome to contact our Career Services department for questions about jobs in the field. 

 In order to apply at Pennco Tech School, prospects must first schedule an appointment to meet with an admissions representative.  They will be put through a brief interview to determine eligibility for acceptance into the school.  Please contact the admissions department at 856-232-0310 to schedule your initial appointment, or follow this link to request to be contacted https://www.penncotech.edu/apply-now/ 

No, Pennco Tech does not require students to have any previous experience in their respected trades.  All programs start with the basics and build your skills step by step.

Yes, Financial Aid is available for those that qualify.  Our Financial Aid department will assist applicants with navigating this process before their start date.

We have multiple class starts throughout the year so you can begin training sooner instead of having to wait for designated Fall and Spring semesters. 

  • Your 1098-T Tuition Statement is available on your student portal by January 31st of the following year. You can also pick up a copy from the Bursar.

No. At Pennco Tech, we understand the investment our students make in getting their education. We pride ourselves in standing apart with our finance policies, including interest-free and penalty-free payment plans for our students.

Disclaimer: Pennco Tech may update the credit bureaus for students with delinquent institutional payment plans. 

Yes, both of Pennco Tech’s campuses have school gear available at the Business Office. Apparel and other items can also be ordered on our school store webpage by clicking the link below or finding ‘School Store’ on our website menu under Resources. 

Yes, our dedicated Career Services representatives want to provide assistance for you as conveniently as possible. 

Yes, you can retrieve a copy with our Registrar’s office. You can contact them through the information listed under the ‘Transcripts’ section of this page or by calling Pennco Tech directly.

Yes! Our team can help connect you with employers who are hiring in your field of study. We can also assist with completing applications, updating your resume, preparing for interviews, and learning how to follow up effectively. 

 

It’s also important that the Career Services department has your updated information to put you in contact with hiring companies! 

Yes, if you have a specific employer that you would like your resume to go to, please contact Career Services with the employer name, phone number and or email. Our Career Services department can also share it with appropriate employers on your behalf. 

Yes, you absolutely can. The Career Services department can also provide assistance with getting your resume created.

Pennco Tech is very proud of its graduation ceremonies, which are held several times a year. The Career Services Department will discuss with you when your Graduation Ceremony will be along with the requirements needed for attendance. 

Employers oftenrequire a valid driver’s license—especially in the skilled trades—because the work often involves traveling to job sites, driving company vehicles, or responding to service calls. Maintaining a valid driver’s license can be critical for finding the best job opportunity that’s right for you. 

Yes, Pennco Tech is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

We offer tutoring, instructor-led review sessions, make-up time opportunities, and close support from our Education and Student Services departments to ensure every student has the resources needed to succeed.

Yes, it’s important for us at Pennco Tech to be supportive of our graduates, even in life after the classroom. One of the ways we support this philosophy is by allowing alumni to return to campus for skill refreshers. Please contact the Education department for more information! 

Automotive TechnologyReceive the hands-on training needed to work as a professional in the automotive industry. 

Collision Repair: At our Blackwood campus, you can become a collision repair tech who can estimate costs, make repairs, refinish vehicles, and more. 

Diesel Technology: At our Blackwood, NJ campus, students learn how to troubleshoot, service, and repair the diesel-powered vehicles that are essential in today’s economy. 

Electrician: Through our industry-recognized curriculum, you can become an electrician with the skills needed to service traditional and solar-powered systems. 

HVAC & Refridgeration Our hands-on HVAC&R classes teach you how to troubleshoot and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration technology. 

Medical AssistantGain the vital skills needed for clinical patient care and administrated duties in hospitals, physicians’ offices, and other healthcare facilities. 

Plumbing and Heating: Learn how to install, maintain, and repair the plumbing systems in residental and commercial businesses. 

Welding: At our Bristol campus, students learn a variety of welding techniques as well as critical skills like alloy identification and fabrication. 

Most programs are offered at both campuses, but availability may vary. Students should contact Admissions to confirm which programs are offered at each location.

Yes. At our Bristol, PA campus, we proudly offer Authorized OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Outreach Training programs that can be used by students and local professionals. OSHA classes will be available in Blackwood, New Jersey beginning in 2026. Please contact the Education department for details! 

Yes. Many of our students take advantage of day and evening classes to help make it easier to fit an education into a busy schedule.

Absolutely. Students seeking to come back and complete their program often don’t need to wait long for that opportunity. Please contact the Education department for information regarding when you are eligible to return to your program and get information regarding your re-entry. 

Yes. At our Bristol location, there are emissions, safety, and inspection classes available. Please contact the Bristol campus for more information.

Repayment options, Deferments, and Forbearances are options for borrowers. We encourage students to contact our Student Loan Counseling Department to discuss the options that are available in further detail, or contact your loan servicer.

You pay your federal student loans to your specified student loan servicer. This information can be found at studentaid.gov or you can contact our Student Loan Counseling Department. 

 

All students can contact our Student Loan Counseling Department to discuss any repayment options or contact your loan servicer. You can find your loan servicer on studentaid.gov. 

You can login to your account at studentaid.gov to see an overview of your federal loan balances. There is important information on this site about repayment, forbearance and loan forgiveness. 

Most federal student loans enter repayment 6 months after you graduate, leave school, or drop below half-time enrollment. If you have prior student loans from another school, please contact our Student Loan Counseling Department for information about deferring your existing loans while attending Pennco Tech.

Yes! Pennco Tech’s Financial Services Department can help you navigate the financial aid process, give you education on the different funding sources, and information for special and unusual circumstances that some students may experience along the way. We offer Federal grants, loans, payment plans, and third-party funding options. Feel free to contact our Financial Services Department or visit our Financial Aid Overview page for additional information

First, learn about GI Bill eligibility requirements online https://www.va.gov/education/eligibility or by calling the VA Education Call Center 888-GIBILL-1 (888-442-4551), Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET.

To apply for the GI Bill and related benefits, go to www.va.gov or call 888-442-4551.

In some cases, the dependent or surviving spouse and children of a Veteran can get educational assistance through a GI Bill program.  Learn more about Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program (Chapter 35) at https://www.va.gov/education/survivor-dependent-benefits/.

Also, if the service member has unused Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits, they may be able to transfer up to 36 months of benefits to their spouse or a dependent child. Learn more about Transfer of Eligibility for Dependents and Spouse (Chapter 33) at https://www.va.gov/education/transfer-post-9-11-gi-bill-benefits/

The VA will mail the Certificate of Eligibility (COE), or award letter, within 30 days from the date the VA application was submitted.  The COE includes details of the VA education benefit that the student is entitled.

Applicants can call the VA Education Call Center 888-GIBILL-1 (888-442-4551), two-weeks after applying, to learn if they are eligible.

Yes. We’re honored to serve those who’ve served and their families. The Financial Services team can help veterans apply for federal financial aid in addition to their VA Benefits to offset any balances they may accrue for educational costs.

A student is considered full time when enrolling for the day programs at 34 hours per week.

A student is considered half-time when enrolling in the evening programs at 12 hours per week.

Pay amount depends on the VA Chapter the student is entitled. Students are encouraged to use the GI Bill® Comparison Tool to learn about each of the VA education benefits and compare their pay rate information. 

Also, the Veteran School Certifying Official will ensure each certification is submitted through the VA’s Enrollment Manager system prior to their certification date to be sure all veterans receive their monthly housing allowance on time.
