*For those who qualify.
At Pennco Tech, we strive to make your transition to our institution as seamless as possible with an easy 1,2,3 step process!
Call today and schedule a same day appointment with an experienced member of our Admissions team!
– Start by mentioning you would like to transfer from your current institution.
– A member of our Admissions team
will take you on personal tour of our campus so we can show you all
that our programs have to offer!
You will sit 1 on 1 with a member of our Education department.
We will review your transcript and talk about what your options are and what’s the best choice for you. The outcome of this meeting will provide two scenarios:
Based on your transcript, we will see if you qualify for advanced standing and can be placed at the equivalent point of your current program into one of our programs here at Pennco Tech.
After reviewing your file, the best option could be to start fresh from the beginning in one of our programs. Every student’s situation is unique and outcomes can vary. Regardless of what you decide is the best choice for you upon meeting with our Education team. You will then meet 1 on 1 with a member of our Financial Aid staff
Our Financial Aid team will assist you every step of the way to figure out if you qualify for LOAN FORGIVENESS and what your options are to pay for school.
In Scenario #1, if you qualify for advanced standing you will not be eligible for loan forgiveness (unless you have justifying circumstances, you may qualify). However, our experienced and dedicated Financial Aid staff will assist in guiding you through the process and explaining the most financially sound package that fits your specific needs. You will be able to transition STRESS FREE as you will receive a one on one confidential Financial Aid appointment to lead you every step of the way.
In Scenario #2, it might make sense for you to start fresh in one of our programs; First, you will meet 1 on 1 with our Student Loan Counseling department to determine if any of your loans can be FORGIVEN! Then you will sit with a Financial Aid representative to assist in figuring out what new loans you could qualify for and your best options to help pay for school.
It is important that you know and understand your rights as a student (*see below) and know that when you join the Pennco family as a student, you are Pennco FOR LIFE! This means we stay with you for life. If you’re an alumni from Pennco Tech, you are eligible to come back and refresh your skills in a course you’ve already taken. And best of all—there’s no cost involved. In addition, our Career Services department is here to assist you in finding your next job whether you started school yesterday or graduated 10 years ago!
