The beautiful thing about a trade is that anyone can do it. Many people choose to leave their careers and jobs when they feel like they’ve hit a dead end. It’s also the perfect opportunity for military veterans who are just returning to civilian life. So whether you’ve just graduated high school, or you’re looking to break away from one career into the other, a trade school is a fantastic opportunity for everyone. But not all trade schools are alike, and Pennco Tech works tirelessly to bring you the most up-to-date curriculum possible. Here are five reasons you should enroll at Pennco Tech.
Pennco Tech promises to deliver the highest quality education and hands-on lab work in eight of the core technical fields, which include:
In an interview, Deborah White, our executive director of Marketing, commented regarding why we offer the courses we do. “We’re grooming the next generation of essential workers in fields that will deliver long-term job security,” she said.
Most people choose trade school because they don’t work as well in a traditional classroom setting. Our instructors have decades of combined experience, and they’re ready to pass it down to you. “At Pennco Tech, our students hit the ground running with hands-on training and gain new skill sets and experience,” says White, “and in contrast to traditional colleges and universities, which generally take four or more years to complete, most trade school students can complete their programs within about a year and begin earning income in their industry.”
It’s no secret that a traditional four-year program at any college or university is quickly rising in cost. Whether it’s a state school or a private institution, prices are skyrocketing, and the jobs that you might be able to land with a four-year degree simply don’t pay enough to make it a sensible investment. But, unlike a college degree, “Pennco Tech’s affordable education enables our students to graduate with less debt,” according to White. Our trade school also offers grants, financial aid packages, and scholarships that are designed to help lower the cost of tuition, making our programs accessible to those who qualify.
White also said that “salary surveys reveal that skilled trade workers can earn more than entry-level college graduates, and master tradespeople can command even higher salaries.” Our affordable education turns out top-tier tradespersons, and the jobs they get after graduation will pay more the longer they’re in their field.
Our service to our students doesn’t stop after graduation. Whether you’ve just crossed the stage or you graduated 15 years ago, we work with all of our alumni and support them throughout their careers – something we call Pennco for Life. “While other trade schools might offer career assistance to current or recent graduates, we’re proud to provide lifetime career assistance services to any former student, and many of our alumni tap into these opportunities,” adds White.
For decades, Pennco Tech has been giving students the skills and knowledge that set them up for a long career with opportunities at every turn. Whether you’re considering our campus in Bristol, PA, or Blackwood, NJ, contact Pennco Tech for more information on our available courses.
