Getting “Essential” With Pennco Tech

October 20th, 2020

Sports fans, rejoice! Football is finally back, at both the collegiate and professional levels. After successful returns by the NBA, NHL, and MLB, football is the latest sport to return after the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the threat of the virus is still hanging over the season. Just look at the panic that set in across the league as the Tennessee Titans and the New England Patriots suffered a large-scale outbreak that triggered multiple games to be rescheduled.

The NFL’s struggles show that even seven months later, the COVID-19 pandemic continues to hang over us. Many people have been put out of work. Despite this, however, those working in the trades have been able to continue their careers — albeit with more safety guidelines in place. How did these workers get started in positions with such great job security? Through a Pennco Tech education, of course!

Obtaining Job Security

No matter what obstacles our country faces, there will always be a need for electricians, plumbers, auto mechanics, and other skilled trades. By choosing a career path with one of Pennco Tech’s eight programs, you can become an expert in a field that offers much-needed stability in an unpredictable climate.

Let’s say, for instance, you choose to enroll in our medical assistant training program in Bucks County. Especially in the wake of COVID-19, the medical field is a place where you can not only make a difference, but you can also always find work, as so many hospitals and practices are looking for qualified workers. The following infographic outlines how our medical assistant – administrative program can provide a sense of security in your career:

‘I got it!!!!!I got it!’, Anthony said as he raced into the Career Services Office. He was talking about his new job. Hired by a former graduate of Pennco Tech, Anthony will begin his new career with a two-day OSHA training course.

I enjoyed all my teachers. They made it interesting and challenging. I enjoyed going back to school at the age of 48! Career Services was a big help to me. Danielle was great. She helped me with my resume and showed me how to apply. I got the job with Dietz and Watson! Pennco Tech was the right choice for me as I get ready to start my career.
