How much can VA education benefits cover for school?

What does the VA consider as full-time attendance for students?

March 13th, 2026

A student is considered full time when enrolling for the day programs at 34 hours per week. A student is considered half-time when enrolling in the evening programs at 12 hours per week.

Absolutely. Students seeking to come back and complete their program often don’t need to wait long for that opportunity. Please contact the Education department for information regarding when you are eligible to return to your program and get information regarding your re-entry.
